Who We Are
Dar Al Atta’a is a Muscat-based non-profit
voluntary organization. Set up in 2002, we endeavour to
better the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves both
in the capital area and beyond.
The group periodically organizes fundraising events in order to be able to reach their goals.
What We Do
Currently, there are three major aid and assist programs
that we are focusing on. These are:
Family Welfare Program: We provide
aid to under-privileged families by helping them meet basic
needs such as food, shelter and clothing. Besides actually
providing then with these basic necessities , we also help
them support themselves by providing information that will
allow them to make their own livelihood.
Hospital Program: There is nothing
quite as miserable as being ill and alone. This program focuses
on organizing entertainment activities for sick children at
various hospitals. In addition to this, we also donate toys
to the children’s wards at hospitals.
Student Care Program: Learning
can be tough if you don’t have the basic necessities
required for school. This program provides uniforms school
supplies and books to needy children. In addition to this,
nutritious meals are also provided to under-privileged children
Other Activities: Dar Al Atta’a also provides
rations during the holy month of Ramadan and clothes during
Eid and Zakat for the under-privileged.
